A Global Gospel Music Reality TV competition Unveils in Canada.

Levites Gospel Music Reality TV Competition is a platform that nurtures, produces and sustains talents in the Gospel Music Industry World.

In a world that has come under the increasing influence of hedonism, there is a quest among most young Christians to explore their talents and be identified as celebrities; but due to the non-availability of adequate gospel music platforms for self-discovery, young Christians have become susceptible to the clarion call of alcoholic, sacrilegious, and lewd sexuality driven reality TV shows that promote social and spiritual irresponsibility.

According to Matthew Obono, the Chief Executive Director of the Levites Reality Tv Inc.  an existing business operating out of Canada; their mission is to present a unique contemporary innovation through the Levites Gospel Music Reality TV Competition, aimed at discouraging the rising migration of young Gospel singers from Gospel to Secular music, while promoting a lifestyle of worship, love, hope, as well as lifting God’s name.

He added that the Levites Gospel Music Reality TV Competition, formerly referred to as the GMA Reality TV competition, is the first of its kind and the world’s number 1 gospel music reality TV show, which recorded over 4,000 registrations from 27 countries across Africa in its maiden edition in 2019, but has now been rebranded to accommodate participants from countries all over the world.

Mr. Obono emphasised that the Levites show is not a denominational spur, but an act towards inspiring and nurturing young, talented gospel singers in the spirit of true praise and worship. Although the focus is on inspiring and nurturing talents so as to discover the next big voice in Gospel Music globally; Contestants will also educate, inspire and entertain viewers through intellectual tasks, games and other activities aimed at providing solutions to real problems in the World.

Mr. Obono assured that the 2024/2025 Global Edition of the Levites Competition will be bigger, better, entertaining, inspiring, edifying, and glorifying.

With contestants registration set to commence in April of 2024, the Execuitve Director told us that thier target is to record a global registration of at least 200,000 Contestants worldwide, from which 50 finalists will be selected from the global auditions and brought together in one location for 10 weeks to battle for who becomes the King or Queen of the Levites worldwide.

The Levites project is for a great and worthy cause that will not only benefit the contestants, but also encourage young gospel singers all over the world to remain steadfast to their calling.

He also said that daily activities of the contestants will be broadcasted real-time on both digital and terrestrial platforms to homes all over the world.

Mr. Obono pointed out that Christians are the largest consumers of Gospel Music globally, and according to PEW RESEARCH CENTER, Christians are projected to remain the world’s largest religious group, growing from 2.56 billion in 2022 to a projected steady growth of about 3.33 billion Christians in 2050. But the Gospel Music Industry still remains an untapped market with a lot of global brands shying away from associating itself with it. He pleaded that Christians worldwide should try and be supportive of the Levites project.

Talented singers of all ages, Choir members, christian Gospel singers, are however encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase thier talent to the world.
